EGM Design Consulting LLC was established in 1993 by Edward Molter to provide a low cost, professional drafting and expediting service that would appeal to the average consumer, on a specific budget.
Since 2004 we have completed over 1000 individual projects ranging from New Custom Homes to Kitchen and Bathroom Extensions. No job is too big or too small for EGM Design. We have worked in virtually every Town, Village and City on Long Island, including Queens, Manhattan and Brooklyn building departments.
From 1993 to 2004 Ed worked at a Large Nassau County based Design Firm where he ran the Design Department. In the evening when he got done with his “Day Job”, He would work on smaller Residential Projects doing about 10 a year. In early 2004 Ed decided to go out on his own creating EGM Design Consulting LLC. Still working from his Home Studio, Ed realized that they needed more space and opened up their first Studio Space in Massapequa in January 2006 that consisted of 500 sq. ft. As their workload continued to grow, they gradually hired on staff and had to expand the studio space, yet again. In March 2010, they expanded the studio space to 1,800 sq. ft. to give their Five (5) Member Team the necessary space to work more efficiently, in an Open Plan Setting. This expansion allowed for a larger reception area, an additional conference room for client meetings and more room for team members to be added. These changes also allowed them to expand upon their designs and quality process.
